Transcell Technology, Inc. is a U.S. based manufacturer since 1981. Transcell specializes in load cells, postal scales, precision balances and industrial scales. In addition to a wide product array, we offer the most comprehensive range of services in our industry on a global level.

Our headquarters is in Buffalo Grove, IL, a northwest suburb of Chicago, where warehousing, distribution, assembly and other value-added functions transpire. We also have manufacturing facilities in China (Nanjing and Shanghai) and Taiwan (Taipei). This multi-national diversity allows us to select the strengths from each region in an effort to maximize our customer value and market advantage. This allows us to work more closely and efficiently with suppliers and customers.

Historically, our primary focus of manufacturing has been O.E.M. based, concentrating on weighing technologies. However, in an evolving market and with global distribution in mind, Transcell has recently broadened its manufacturing scope to include the U.S. industrial scale distributor market.  

In addition, Cita Technologies, a new division of Transcell, was created to expand the O.E.M capabilities outside of scales, including new exciting products such as:  LED lighting, iPod charging equipment, Hearing Aid Devices, Electronic Sump pump, and much more...

This expansion is backed with a skilled design-through-process engineering team, highly trained quality technicians and dedicated production and distribution personnel. Our manufacturing capabilities include state-of-the-art CNC machining centers, surface mount equipment, strain gauge manufacturing equipment, plastic injection molding, progressive die stamping and more. In addition, we have many contacts to global procurement to round out our ability to offer great diversity in product development and marketing.
